CYCLING MY WAY assumes no liability for any health risks of the participant in connection with participation in a CMW Ride. The participant acknowledges that participation in a CMW Ride involves inherent risks. The risk of serious injury or even death cannot be excluded. The participant confirms and agrees that it is their own responsibility to determine whether they are sufficiently fit and healthy to participate in a CMW Ride without concern. Furthermore, the participant confirms that no physician or comparable professional has advised them against participating in a CMW Ride. The participant is solely responsible for their personal belongings and equipment. They are aware, and hereby acknowledge, that vehicle and pedestrian traffic may occur during a CMW Ride and that they bear the resulting risks associated with cycling and/or other aspects of these CMW Rides or participation therein. In particular, the following risks, among others, may be associated with participation in CMW Rides, without limitation: falls, collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, other participants, or stationary objects; hazards arising from dangerous surfaces, equipment failure, and insufficient safety or sporting gear; as well as any risks caused by weather conditions.

The participant is aware of the dangers arising from the consumption of alcohol, medication, or drugs before, during, and after CMW Rides, which may impair their judgment and athletic abilities. The participant is solely responsible for any and all consequences resulting from the consumption of alcohol, drugs, or medication.

Should medical treatment of the participant become necessary during a CMW Ride, the participant hereby gives prior consent to such treatment. Medical services will be charged directly to the participant according to standard medical rates. CYCLING MY WAY does not provide, and is not obligated to provide, insurance coverage for medical treatment. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they have sufficient insurance coverage for medical treatment. CYCLING MY WAY accepts no liability in this regard.
